I also started the hiring process months early - I haven’t even started yet! And it was exceptionally lucky under these circumstances that I did, but I do recommend all new faculty do it anyways!

Very exciting news! My COI is that my dad owns a bunch of shares on the Australian side. Bought them years ago and I was a naysayer. So happy to be wrong!!
