The damage from Brexit is always seen in economic terms. But the non monetary harm it brought to many is never reported on and in my view is even more devastating.

There is nothing redeeming about Brexit.

Brexit: “The most dishonest campaign in our history said it would save us £350m a week, but Brexit actually cost us £250m a day in 2025. That is why we have the highest taxes ever, that is why we have sky-high bills, that is why we have a cost of living crisis” @eddavey.libdems.org.uk

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

The ‘where are they now?’ chaser to Farage’s schoolboy racism..

Let’s put aside the schooldays accusations and look, instead, at the Reform leader’s path since then. I think a pretty clear picture of the man emerges, says author and podcaster Musa Okwonga

It’s almost like the unredacted Russia Report was never released for fear of the electorate’s trust of Government being undermined. Bit like the Epstein files. Oh, hang on a minute…

There’s a handful of Old Alleynians who now have the power to change the face of British politics for the better. They must act, and they must act now.

Politicians constantly claim that the government must “live within its means”, just like any family.

In this video, I explain why the household analogy is not only wrong — it is the foundation of austerity.

“Did you, in your roles as his boss, friend, mentor & party leader, ever question his full-throated support for an enemy of the UK and if not, why not?”

You can have those for nothing, lads.

Analysis of the language used in Trump’s Ukraine “peace plan” shows it was drafted in Russian and translated into English.

I’ll try to dig up a link.

I once stood this close to Lauren Bacall in the bar of Chichester Festival Theatre. I was chugging a large gin and tonic waiting to see Derek Jacobi, and I made two mistakes: firstly, NOT getting a ticket to see her in The Visit. Secondly, NOT having the courage to say hello!

Labour have sent out a toe curling press release about their horrendous changes to the immigration system.

Imagine a LABOUR government boasting that we will now have "by far the most controlled and selective" system in Europe.

NONE of the people who find that boast appealing will vote for them.

Jacob Rees-Mogg like Rishi Sunak has registered all his assets in tax havens, because they don't 'belong' to him in the UK they aren't taxed here.

So his tax bill is negligible, he doesn't need to leave to dodge tax.

This con needs to be stopped.

Thanks BBC for telling us that meter tampering is illegal, during the period of our lives when we are faced with vastly inflated bills and massive corporate profit. Next can you please do a piece on Revenue Protection on the railways and how it would be wrong to use the same ticket multiple times?
