Look under the green hood and you will find a raft of policies that have been developed over many years by the members. We now have a leader who is effective at communicating those policies. To suggest that there is a parallel with Farage/Reform is frankly laughable.

I am a pedant of a certain age that gets mildly annoyed by media outlets getting football clubs' names wrong. Headline says Harrogate FC, which does not exist.

Hmm. Are you sure? Dig a bit deeper and you'll find that the Polanski soundbites are backed up by a broad wealth of policies that have been democratically decided upon by the GP membership over the years.

Nigel Farage is an out of touch part of the establishment, yet is inexplicably portrayed as a man of the people. How more people - and journalists - are incapable of realising this is staggering.
