I’m going to keep these kind of alerts on for a while, but we’ll see how much utility they really have… it’s mostly for situations like when a leadership PAC has changed hands, and thus changed names.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

After trying it a few times, filling out my absentee ballot at home then taking it to my polling place to feed into the tabulator is definitely my preferred way to vote.

PSA: The amount of shit in Michigan politics/government cheekily named with "MI" in place of "my" is nearing epidemic levels.

The pun is so worn. It's time for a moratorium.

Appreciate Mike Cox's campaign for flagging this: Michigan's campaign finance system is seemingly double-counting original and amended transactions, falsely inflating the cumulative totals the system generates for some summary reports.
