Coming up to a third of the next novel written having begun at the start of the month. At the same time as dealing with packing up to move and a kidney infection. I am on a roll! 😀

Ah, the glamour of being an author! Today I am knocking out a few pages of the latest Berlin novel in a mall coffee shop while my Hilux gets its latest 5k service. Can recommend the salted caramel and peanut shake at Cafe Lux though. Pure brain food for writers.

Congratulations Lionesses! Hopefully, the guys try to emulate the women's success... My wife reckoned Spain would win 3-0. I bet on England to win 2-1 in extra time. Not that I am competitive or anything but I feel that she should pay me the five rupees in a sportswoman-like manner.

UB40 were great and the political nature of the lyrics as relevant now (even more so) than they were four decades ago.

TYRANT OF ROME PROGRESS REPORT... 100% complete. Just typed 'the end' (and a pretty grim ending it was too). Going to see UB40 tonight to clear my mind. Then I'll tidy it up and send the first draft in to my editor. Need a good night's sleep first!

So, Trump announces a ceasefire which instantly falls apart and now he's furious. There's only one government that "doesn't know what the fuck it is doing" and that is the one in the US. Just waiting for TACO to give them two weeks to sort it out. That'll show them!

Never believe a marketing video that tells you your Guppy can be assembled in 15-20 minutes. It took well over an hour and more swearing than I have deployed in years... But, it is launched at least/at last...
