After they had a word I had never heard of (my bad) as the pangram I looked it up on google ngrams to see how common it was, and since then I have compared other nonsense pangrams to that... (cf Mendoza Line in baseball).

Today's pangram is the blue line here:

My understanding is that this indexes to 2024 dollars, and yes CSV is available at that link. If you don't believe their indexing you can also do nominal and do your own work I guess.

109 years ago my great uncle was in France. He was part of the WW1 Christmas Truce. This was his letter home about it. He died 18 months later at the Battle of the Somme.

Stupid here- wondering why Google Maps does not show locations of Safeways and Whole Foods against a search for "supermarket." There is a closer one of each from the blue location than any of the locations here...

After some investigation (thnx @AppleSupport ) it appears this is not of concern (ymwv), but whoever did this (dropbox, MSFT, or Box are likely culprits) really ought to think a little harder. A file called "open" with no additional info?"
