I'm a fan of all things related to comic books, especially Marvel and DC | 21
With how often Barry thinks about Nora I was pretty surprised to see that even after Henry is freed Barry rarely visits or mentions him at all during the Rebirth run and don't even get me started on Darryl Frye who is meant to be Barry's adoptive father but was forgotten about after the New 52 run.

The DCU can easily have the best Barry Allen adaptation as long as they adapt one of his stories that isn't Flashpoint or if he's dead

I hope we see Chester return in Wally's current run I miss seeing them together. We've seen a version of Chester with Ace but I'm hoping they can retcon him to be his cousin like they did with Wally and Ace.

In retrospect, I like WML's Flash run more than Geoff Johns's run because of how it sets up key elements for Wally's time as the Flash and how it transitions into Waid's run while Johns's run can feel like it's undoing those elements like getting rid of his public identity or other various retcons.

I finished Ultimate Spider-Man #11 and I have to say I'm really loving David Messina's art in this issue I feel like every issue he draws is better than his previous one. Also, this is the first time in this run he's drawn Spider-Man in his suit and he does a great job.

It makes me sad whenever they bully Captain Marvel he's always catching strays

Now that I'm all caught up on the Flash I'm going to start reading through J. M. DeMatteis' Justice League International run

Am I crazy for thinking they were directly referencing this

I'm all caught up on Si Spurrier's Flash run and I have to say at first I wasn't sure how I felt about them exploring the Speed Force in a way we haven't seen before but Spurrier does pull it off while also exploring Wally's struggles and self-doubt as a hero, husband and father in a beautiful way.

Finished the Jeremy Adams Flash run and I loved it this run feels like a return of Wally from the Waid/Johns era. You can tell Adams has love for these characters and with editorial no longer being an issue he gets to tell the stories he wants and they are amazing especially One Minute War.

I love it when they bring Superman to a Flash story to show how fast the Flash is in comparison.

I'm a big fan of these concept designs for the Flash Rebirth suit and wanted to see what they would look like with a closed cowl and white eyes. Which one do you prefer?

Give me a character and I'll tell you where they're ranked on my league of comic geeks account

I love that we're getting more of Wally and Ace working together in this run I've been interested in seeing more of their dynamic after seeing them meet in the Rebirth run

I finished the first arc of the Jeremy Adams Flash run and I have to say it's pretty refreshing to read a story where Wally is the main character and is treated with respect especially after reading through the New 52 and Rebirth Flash run.

I just realised Wally did the Elon Musk Spider-Verse tweet in this page

Wally (who's trapped in Reverse Flash's body) is definitely talking from experience here

For me it's Wally as The Flash because of the growth he goes through while having this mantle he's worshipped as a kid be thrusted upon him which forces him to mature as he surrounds himself around people like Hartley and Linda and starts to become a better person and someone worthy of the mantle.

Despite my issues with Joshua Williamson's Flash run, I appreciate that he ended it on a strong note with Finish Line which gave us the return of the Flash Family and a pretty satisfying ending to Barry and Eobard's rivalry.

As sad as I am that Superman & Lois is ending so early I do appreciate how they seem to be going all out for this season now that they know this is the the final season.

Current thoughts about the New 52 Flash run so far:
- Patty and Barry are a boring couple
- Gorilla Warfare was a pretty fun story
- Daniel West could've been an interesting villain but they didn't do anything interesting with him
- I'm disappointed by the lack of Flash family so far

If you combined these two Flash adaptations into one you'd get the best Wally adaptation.

I really enjoyed Absolute Wonder Woman but I can't help but wonder if my not being well-versed in the Wonder Woman mythos will put me at a disadvantage and result in me missing out on certain things.
