I started cleaning my room out today - and made a lot of progress! Everything on the bed is going to be packed :) I’m really proud of myself because I was dreading this clean for so long, but it was so simple!

I hear what you guys are saying about the Oscars, and how they're a celebration of life, and the show must go on, blah-blah-blah, so-on-and-so-forth. It all makes a degree of sense, but to me it still feels like Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Or in this case, wearing fancy clothes while LA burns.

I’m sorry but the fact that Congress is about to throw immigrants under the bus at the very same time that countless immigrants in California are risking their lives to protect neighborhoods many of them could never aspire live in is breaking my brain in a whole new way.

The reason I'm so positive about aspiring writers is that I believe that:
* Anyone who can string a sentence together can write a story, script or book.
* Anyone who puts enough time, effort, and workshopping into it can write a GOOD story, script, or book.
