I started writing a book in 2014. It took me 3 years to finish. In the end, I wound up with a 4-book series.

I wrote for 3 years as I quickly learned the book had become much bigger than me. In the end, I wrote 2500 pages in Word, and wound up with four books instead of one, all connected each to the other through an overarching plot. I published it on Amazon. It's not Dickens, but it's mine.

I didn't know why. My partner approached and I told him I couldn't figure out why I was drawn to this painting. His reply " Oh that's Andie", the main character in my book. When he said it, I knew what was wrong with the plot and what I had yo do to fix it. So I tossed out 325 pages and started over
