The last major thing I record is trips to the dump. I collect our trash on a trailer and take it myself to save money. I took 7 loads this year. That cost me about $96. That's less than we would pay for 3 months of trash service.

I also keep a rough record of the rainfall at our house. We live in a spot that is often bypassed by monsoon storms. I've spoken to many people across Tucson who tell me this was a great rain year. We got close to 6 inches. That is definitely not great for us.

I keep a wall calendar that I write down information I want to track each year. One of those is egg production. Even with our chicken loss, we got 2071 eggs this year.

We give extras to my in-laws, parents, friends, and people at church.
