Arizona has passed a law making it illegal to prevent residents of a single-family detached residence from having chickens. This is a great use of state government! To many of the towns were making it difficult for people.

I keep a wall calendar that I write down information I want to track each year. One of those is egg production. Even with our chicken loss, we got 2071 eggs this year.

We give extras to my in-laws, parents, friends, and people at church.

We were sitting in our backyard roasting marshmallows when I noticed the moon was rising between these Saguaro. In the 5 years we've lived here I have never noticed how much the Saguaro onthe right looks like a hand at this angle.
