Starting up book 4 of Agents of Edgewatch tonight. AoE is the 3rd AP of the 2nd Ed. era, and it does show it's age. 😜That's OK, we're having fun, and the entirely urban adventure is a welcome change for most of my players.

Nice session tonight. Finished up Ch 1, book 3 of Agents. Party was expecting a continuing brawl, and it ended up mostly social. 😬 They got their key, but a shame about the resulting Docks District chaos.🫣

Nice session of #Pathfinder2e last night. We just resumed Agents of Edgewatch (book 3), and were down 2 members (from our normal 6), and the Meladaemon gave them a fit. It wasn't until they remembered to work as a party with their new classes, that they really started to put the beat down on it. 😁

In our #pathfinder2e AoE campaign tonight is ..... a chase. 😱The first was less than memorable, but here's to second chances! Regardless, the battle maps are looking spiffy in Foundry, so the question is just how well the PCs interact with it via "Monk's Common Display".

I've never felt more like my Avatar than today. I'm trying to merge my existing in-person PF2e campaign with Foundry VTT for map usage. Good grief, even with modules like "Monk's Common Display", it's a lot to learn and tamp down in the ol' grey-matter. 😉

A dev with the Matrix protocol had a real nice breakdown of the similarities and difference between their protocol and BlueSky's 'AT Protocol'. Sure there's a bit of bias, but all in all an even-handed, welcoming comparison. Damn few of those on any topic. Link: news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3588...

Good technical interview about BlueSky. I'm tickled to think I understand the details of protocols like the "AT Protocol", but they are intriguing non-the-less. Shame they couldn't work out something with the Matrix protocol people, but both do excellent work.

Not surprised at all. Like all businesses, States don't & won't spend the time/energy/effort to properly upgrade the infrastructure nor enforce changes to established practice.

Interesting story from Dan Takahashi.

Granted, I've been an Apple skeptic since way back in the 80s. Way too cult-like for me, with the passionate believers and cult of personality that was Jobs. Nice to see others recognize the dangers, regardless of the supposed benefits.
Why Apple needs to face greater antitrust scrutiny | The DeanBeat
After watching Apple's defiance of European antitrust regulators this week, I've come to the conclusion that the company needs to face greater antitrust scrutiny.
