Nope, Strava is king because of segments, leaderboards and mapping/route generation. Until a service offers all those on top of the recording, it wont move the needle. Garmin has a semblance of these but does nothing to push them or the social aspects. Zwift has the socials, but not the other bits

I got rid of Twitter a while back, found it a draining black hole of awfulness. I missed the news aspect of it, like knowing what’s happening right now. Bsky hit the critical mass a few weeks back, and with bad flooding here in my home town on Friday BSky became my hub to stay on top of things.

Seeing so in effect you are subjected to Space Karen’s echo chamber too… no thanks. I quite like it here.

I don’t understand the argument. How is T*****r supposed to have fixed this. Like Bsky, you choose who your feeds should be filled with. That, by definition, is how you make an echo chamber. What the other site does to supposedly fix this is implicitly to add what it thinks you should also be 1/2
