Looks like a melta weapon is essentially just a REALLY POWERFUL microwave weapon - maybe switching from "fuel" to projecting radiation or emitting superheated air/gas would work better?
Also the ribbed lower handguard is a common element

@vonpixel.bsky.social the best I've gotten so far is this. I'm not a UE5 PCG expert by any means, but I'll update if I find any new tricks on this problem - it's a sticky one for sure.

ok @angeloslh.bsky.social the basic idea is in the image, create a curve and use that to multiply the force you use, feed player distance to point of maximum pushback into time (assuming your curve is as long as that distance)
