Nah, I've taken on people when I've done my campaigns. Showed them the ropes and ideas I've had. Each time, it works out great. They learn more about D&D, and I can entice new players to get more involved with DMing or helping.

Cyberpunk Red, Project Moon Fan TTRPG, and Call of Cthulhu are all great tabletops to learn.

Nothing sucks more than a player doing something SUPER cool, and then suddenly, you go, "Nuh uh. Legendary resistance" in my personal experiences, it kills the vibe and makes it feel unrewarded. Or just don't use Legendary resistance in general. That works, too.

Two elements I created. Tyme and Fyre are the blood of the titans now being used and harvested by the humans and gods. Which then led to a massive war between humanity and the gods.
