I talk about D&D ideas I have or just stuff about video games I like
It's been a hot sec since I posted. I've been learning the official fallout TTRPG system. So far, it's been super fun to learn. Granted a bit complex but fun. I've based my campaign in New York with heavy emphasis on survival.

What is everyone's favorite moment in a TTRPG you have taken apart of? Dm or player.

I've reached the point where I'm realizing that it benefits my mental health just to say "no" to specific people when they ask to join my games. Especially the "just to fuck with people" kind of players. If being an asshole is fun for you then I'm definitely not your GM. #TTRPG

My favorite puzzle I've performed in D&D was a blank room with a pressure plate. A player would step on it, and a countdown would start from 10 seconds.

My players kept pushing each other off and trying to figure it out

Eventually, they just stayed for 10 seconds. The door opened. That's it.

D&D is about cultivating a story with the collaboration of you and the others. D&D isn't fun when all players decide to be toxic or kill every NPC or min max to all high hell. D&D isn't about stats. It's about the story you cultivate.
#DnD tip: A #TTRPG is only as good as the people who play it. Cultivate a community of respectful, engaged players, and watch the magic unfold.

There’s an improv maxim to play to the top of your intelligence. In TTRPGs, I’m not a big fan of low-Int characters because a lot of people end up playing them like a cartoon, where they don’t understand basic things “for the bit.”

D&D becomes hell for a DM on the 7th or at times 5th level. Multi attack, fireball, etc.

The best tip I can give is to give your enemies a unique gimmick instead of legendary resistance. Is the creature a temporal anomaly? Have them tamper with their dice modifers or the players' modifer.

Ultrakill is one of those games that makes you feel so weak yet so powerful at the same time. Losing over and over to a certain section to then suddenly blazing through everything with ease is such a rush.

If you make a D&D character, please don't make them perfect. They are not inherently interesting.

No person is perfect by any means to having one that IS perfect isn't fun.

Having those flaws and mistakes makes that character interesting.

The sheer idea of dropping Adam Smasher in a Cyberpunk TTRPG Campaign is like the Green Goblin mask talking to Osborne.

The idea of ghost hunting games is such a fun concept. Phasmophobia nails it perfectly, in my opinion. It sets home the idea of the vibe of Ghost Hunters or Ghost adventures and telling the teams resident ghost bait, "Hey. Go sit in this dark room and talk to the Demon"

I had a D&D campaign a while ago where I said I quote,"You see the Crystal. It seems deeply interconnected to the structure of the building..."

"I Take it"

"What?..."

I let him take it. I've never heard a more sad tone of "I Regret every choice I made."

D&D classes are so intoxicating to write. But the struggle is thinking of what a class should do. Half of these classes ain't finished

It's funny looking at my old D&D classes. Seeing my old Arsonist class and that being a mess of a creation of pure scribbles. Then, I saw my Vigilante class, and I considered that my magnus Opus.
