I like knowing that the benefits of Twaining are self-evident

I used to think of Hereditary as "nothing special, but okay overall" until I saw Eddington, which is the type of bad that immediately makes all of the director's previous work look worse.

"The Simpsons needs to figure out how it's going to end" is basically like saying "The Superman comics need to figure out how they're going to end."

Then when they change it back, everybody will agree that the second version never got a fair shake.
