We cleaned the little guy up and let him rest for a while. He's doing good and flapping his wings. Plenty of energy (though he did take the chance to nap for a while when we let him rest in the plastic bin with a towel and heating pad.

This little baby was covered in, like, tar or asphalt or something an hour and a half ago. My partner came home with it in a box after they saw it plunge into a bucket left by the people repaving the parking lot.

Hey, even though I used a couple old ragged paintbrushes, these didn't turn out that bad.
