Pure skill? Either Kezz or Lewin.
The difference being Kezz would do anything to win and Lewin would try to do it honourably. Unless Lewin is a DRK. Then all bets are off with Esteem, because Esteem doesn't consider cheating out of bounds.

For Aya, it was this moment. Ironically, Magnai's words meant more to her than he knew. Her tribe, the Qalli, normally did NOT take part in the Nadaam. They're traders, musicians and artisans, not warriors. But Aya is different, and she WILL fight him to prove that her people are NOT passive.

Lewin and his Esteem sorta counts, although it's more like two personalities in one body. Esteem is pretty much the opposite of Lewin in most ways: cold, hardhearted, driven by vengeance and justice. It's like all of Lewin's darker, repressed qualities manifested in a separate person.

Morroyo TRIES to have some sort of system. It's more of "research books here", "history books here", etc. There are a LOT of esoteric and niche subjects. His office is your stereotypical absentminded professor's. But he has an organizational thing that makes sense to HIM.

Tini can be quite unpredictable, especially as a WAR. She's very spur of the moment, the drag you out to be social kind.

Yes, he's a Scion, he has the Echo, it's his JOB to deal with them. At this point of time (HW), there's no cure for being tempered, and you have to do what you have to do.

Lewin didn't expect Y'shtola to go to bat for him, but still...
Yes, he's a Scion, he has the Echo, it's his JOB to deal with them. At this point of time (HW), there's no cure for being tempered, and you have to do what you have to do.

I know this isn't a required trial series, but it puts a cap what happened during the Calamity and does so much for the twins' character development (especially Alisiae's).
Lewin had actually been AT Carteneau, so he saw what happened when Bahamut fell...and Louisoix's sacrifice.

I know this isn't a required trial series, but it puts a cap what happened during the Calamity and does so much for the twins' character development (especially Alisiae's).
Lewin had actually been AT Carteneau, so he saw what happened when Bahamut fell...and Louisoix's sacrifice.
