I agree and really would like to hear more. I believe that society as a whole has clung to outdated ideas for far too long. Even when proven false by science. I think we can hold on to culture and tradition without holding desperately to social injustice, prejudice, and discriminatory practices.

Good point. That is the goal but a much longer battle than simply changing the terms. We say mail carrier but often think mail man. Or even many people in society who still auto assign a gender to a title like a doctor.

Perhaps we should consider changing the term to "Tech Bra/h" to make it more gender-inclusive? But really, the issue of changing gender specific terms is going to take a very long time, and people need to correct without stoking conflict. Nobody responds well to an attack or counterattack.
