I tend to buy e-books when there’s a promotion and it’s often an impulse purchase. I don’t buy too often lately because I’ve got quite a queue of titles on my iPad that are unread.

That sounds like a great plan. I deleted my news apps and maybe check in once a week for news updates, and even then I only scan headlines. I can’t get wrapped up in the daily soap opera of politics.

I have been watching his commencement speech at least once a year for quite a while because it is so inspiring. Now I feel so conflicted about being inspired by him.

This is a good reminder that when we make up a fictional animal in a story, we also need to create the name for a group of them.

Stream of conscious writing is how I found my writing voice. But I can’t keep up with the speed of my thoughts when writing on paper. Legibility gets bad and my hand cramps. I have to be on a keyboard to keep up.
