I have to be mindful that coming out as trans isn't a clean slate, nor did it fix all my flaws. It's just been more centered place from which to pick up the pieces, some of which are certainly gonna very deservedly draw blood in the process. I'm grateful I was reminded of this.

I was recently asked how I come up with ideas and I suggested a "branching tree" method. Start with a single character, concept, setting, or whatever, and start asking questions, then ask questions about the answers to those, and so on!
