/2 Our healthcare system is the worst I've ever seen it. I have been "in it" since I was a little girl. I've seen everything. This year has been wild. 😔
🧵/3 If you've been following me for a while, you'd know I actually took MYSELF out of traditional päiñ månagēmènt -- on my OWN, year(s) ago. I had been in it for 10+ year's & couldn't take it anymore. I wanted my power back. Florida is a nightmare for this, bc we were ground zero when they changed everything. We were hit the hardest. We also invented the software now used to track patients.. It took YEAR(S), to safely taper myself off of the meds I was put on! (by choice!!!) 👇👇👇 He insisted I was just a 💊 seeker... 🤦🏼‍♀️ (I took myself off strong 0pi0ds in 2020 - they can see that) I asked if he knew what MCAS was?! His response: He refused to answer that question. He didn't feel he owed me an explanation. 🫣 He came running to scold me after I'd just returned from an endoscopy, where they DID see the need for the Benadryl btw, and administered it.. (1/2)⤵️ /2 He was clearly angry that I had requested a different hospitalist, after I sat here for 5+hrs having a terrible reaction (to something I told him I'd react to)! He never sent BENADRYL, because he said I didn't need IV Benadryl for "itchy skin".....‼️ 🫣 Bro the room was spinning!? I had: •Halos in my vision •Tremors •Low blood sugar •Sweating •Flushing •Swelling •Nausea •Vomiting More.. When I say: Itchy skin was my last complaint on this earth, I could scream right now, but I'm stuck

🏨 When a Doctor is angry at you for questioning his practices, so he writes this on your chart: *(Knowing full well how much this will hurt you/how difficult it'll be to get removed)* It's also entirely fabricated! 1/4🧵 *ADVICE REQUESTED*‼️♿ My records that are honestly too triggering to even type out rn I'm sorry guys. Note of nurse calling about reaction 🧵/2 I asked for a medication to replace the one he wrote, due to a severe MCAS reaction!! -- (it's a known Rx interaction 4 EDS) Hence, the request for Benadryl! He had removed ALL of my home meds, I utilize for chronic p@in, & left me with just M! Which I didn't want to use, but caved by Thursday evening & tried it. I had a severe reaction after my third dose that morning around 5-6am 😭 *See Friday's post on this subject/incident* Now to decide what to do with the audio.. (I have it) 👇
