It would’ve been 24/7 outrage on right wing media, banner headlines in the NYT & WaPo, endless opeds, and immediate articles of impeachment in the House.
I can only imagine the outcry if a Democratic President said of Republicans, as Trump said of Dems: "But I hate them, too. You know that? I really do, I hate them. I cannot stand them, because I really believe they hate our country, you want to know the truth."
