Yeah it’s a pretty technical term actually. From Wikipedia “One reason for the writ to be sought by a person other than the prisoner is that the detainee might be held incommunicado.”
I expected it to be like: “if a prisoner is suspected to be unlawfully disappeared, we can demand u produce them”

Yeah - part of me feels that an advanced civilization will either siphon off the sun’s energy and/or literally move Earth’s orbit to maintain a great balance #eternaloptimist

Hmm I’ll play. In a Mad Max world gas for example can be ridiculously high but the market is still the market. There are always ppl buying and if they don’t have currency, other things are offered. The wealth converts into power. Though heavy lies the crown. Lots of violence

Am yes and actually at the levels we’re talking about, it’s abt less Power. At the billionaire echelons the money wields outsized power - they cannot spend this wealth in their lifetime on normal things. Buying islands shouldn’t be a “right”

Though true and obv inclusion matters: ❤️ the signs, we can be intellectually honest and recognize some signs are part of a zeitgeist from recent years. So roles reversed imagine they’re replaced with “All lives matter here” - would we be defending the words alone or seeing them in context?
