… and less than £40k is not acceptable for traditional Editor positions. Getting into (and staying in) publishing is a privilege. Disappointing to see that for the next generation publishing remains a middle class occupation.

What is happening in publishing/journalism? Seeing so many roles with “Editor” in the title paying less than £30k … companies rolling up multiple responsibilities into junior roles and salaries…
