my friend got covid for the first time from attending an artist market while masked, and it has been absolutely devastating for them. they have been in and out of the hospital for weeks. please mask. please test. idk what else to say. it sucks seeing them in pain and my heart hurts.

been slowly working through some experiences that brought back my fear of being too much and a burden. there's something so cruel about feigning kindness, patience, and care for someone to their face, then complaining to others about their disabilities inconveniencing you behind their back.
