Just about 30,000 people have signed the TransAction Alberta petition against Bill 9 and Premier Smith's use of the Notwithstanding Clause to erase the rights of more Albertans this week.

Will you be signature 30,000? transactionalberta.ca

A few weeks ago my 20 month old neighbour and I had a long conversation about the neighbourhood bunnies. Every time I’ve seen her since then, she waves and smiles and yells BUNNY. I think she thinks that’s my name …. And I’m okay with that❤️

A school board in the NWT with a case of measles - after consulting with public health - will not allow students/staff without proof of measles vaccination in the buildings. That’s leadership, folks!

Help please #knitsky friends! This is one of the two panels for a vest. It requires picking up stitches on all four sides and knitting panels together. I’m using 100% superwash merino wool. Should I block the panels before I start knitting? Or wait until the vest is complete? TIA

#knitsky I don’t live knitting with cotton, but this was gifted from a friend and I found an easy pattern. Thrilled with how this turned out!

Status for the next few weeks after planned surgery to remove a doomahickey from the filangee. Lots of #sockknitting and other #knit projects and reading #booksky will ensue. Grateful for human nannies - kitty is scared😻

Today will be my last time #running for weeks. I knew going into it that I would be sad when it was over. During the run, we stopped because our national anthem was playing. We sang along and that brought me much joy. 🍁 🇨🇦

Been thinking about this Tom Brokaw piece a lot over the last couple of days. All these years later, it still makes me teary eyed.

“In the long history of sovereign neighbours, there has never been a relationship as close, productive, & peaceful as the US and Canada.”

Proper running 🏃‍♀️ on a cold and blustery winter morning: meet friends and run full distance with wind at your backs, have partners meet you for lunch with warm dry clothes, get a lift back to the start, go home, shower, and warm up with super snuggly pet. 😻
