Oh wow, I'm a big Deception fan and the chanting is really prominent in "A Call from That Direction" but I never realized it was the same exact sample, that's super interesting to learn!

Oh, interesting fact about this! Capture mechanics were originally planned and even made it as far as being part of the initial ad copy for Deception II, though by the time of the E3 build release they seem to have been dropped entirely - my guess is due to hardware limitations around NPCs.
