Beautiful picture. Been going to big bend for 20 years. Up until now, I had only seen 1 coyote in the park. Last week I saw 3 very fat coyotes. Pretty sure people in Rio Grande Village were feeding. Very sad.

Well. When you put it that way…..I think I need to at least entertain the possibility.

If you are thinking, wow 2.1 lbs is low and a lot more babies born above 2.1 and below normal birth weight need help too, you are not wrong. All babies and children should have guaranteed care.

Also, without access to Medicaid, which all babies born under 2.10 lbs automatically qualify for, we would have been 3.7 million dollars in debt. Not to include the five other hospital stays over the next 3 years.
