2/2 exploring autumn footpaths up and down the Edge, from Much Wenlock to Rushbury. I came across only a handful of people, and at times it was almost as if I had the whole place to myself.

2/2 It brought to a close what was my most enjoyable day of photography since I first picked up a camera. I had never seen anything quite like it before, and I had to pinch myself when I got back home and started going through my pictures.

3/3 Thank you to Long Mynd Camera Club for inviting me to give a talk about the highs and lows of being a professional landscape photographer in Shropshire. It was a great evening and it was good to meet lots of enthusiastic members.

2/3 waited for the birds to fly into position, and after 20 minutes I finally got my shot. If you look to the right you can pick out Abberley Clock Tower as it emerges from the layers of mist.

2/ had ever experienced above a sea of mist. I had to make a rapid lens change but was able to get off a handful of shots before the birds dropped down into the mist and disappeared from sight.
