Got a new phone, forgot my password, and it was raining this morning. But I got back in, and I saw a very large pug today, so despite the nonsense coming at us, it’s all good.

My dentist is in Old Town, Alexandria, and while the fam is getting clean teeth and X-rays, I go to the country’s oldest farmers’ market. And see this, and hope this rebel is still going.

Some days for celebrating are obvious - holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, retirements - and some are quiet, but still significant. As of roughly 9:32, I am fully eligible to retire. Go, me.

If you look closely enough, you can see a heart. Like mine, it’s broken for my fellow Feds who have wrongly been terminated for unfathomable, hubristic reasons. For what it’s worth, I believe in karma.
