The anger and rage that action will breed will lead to more impeachable slip-ups and overreaches of power, and they'll take themselves out! Yes, that will still require action from current sitting members of government and THAT is where things get held up.

Given they're tearing the government apart seeking out new forms of income for themselves, I feel that dealing with them is going to be as simple as driving their net worth down. Those are the kind of actions that even managed to get Elongated Muskrat out of the White House.

Since most of the enemies we're seeing are million/billionaires that just means we need to look towards controlling their actions through consumerism. Or I suppose it would be the opposite in this case, hit the companies they have stocks in with protests and boycotts.

So first off, thanks for stopping to have a chat with me! I agree with most of what you've said, as I do agree that a lot of the current Republican representatives are... sociopaths. (Putting that lightly) However, every problem has its solution!

TLDR: Don't be so glumm! We still have a chance, we just need to keep our heads in the game and resist in every (legal) way we can until we can flip the table and get them out. It doesn't seem effective while dealing with a bunch of felons who bend the rules, but they can't run forever.

Giving up before the fight is over is letting the authoritarians win, and I don't think that suits ANY of us very well. Get your voice out there, and see what happens! Shit is scary, but just like AOC and Bernie have been saying, we don't have to be taken down by these... creatures.

At this point we need to make sure we're putting more energy into making elections go our way and getting majorities so we can out-vote the nazis and that takes talking to citizens. Not to mention, we HAVE seen Republicans flip on a few issues from words alone.

I get this line of thinking and was at one point in the same boat. However, this is way too defeatist for my taste (/lh). Sure, the authoritarian mfs can't be reasoned with, but those who voted to give them the seats they're in CAN be. That's what AOC and Burnie have been out proving.
