Today’s Chart of the Day shows AI traffic May-Oct this year & my older son pointed out to me that usage plunged at the start of June & recovered to May levels in Sept. This correlates with the academic year. Heavy usage from students will be hard for AI companies to monetise:

Today’s Chart of the day shows the S&P 500 against the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index since 2007. This is one view of the K shaped economy, with S&P heading up in recent years as consumer sentiment has headed down.

Today’s Chart of the Day is a chart showing the job openings rate vs SPX since 1969. These have always been positively correlated to a high degree until October 2022, at which point job openings continued to decline while SPX then rose 70%. This is a major divergence:
