In a text thread my husband was on, a guy joked that he was going to run over “angry” protesters. My husband said, “My wife is out there and she’s not angry. She’s standing up for people‘s rights.” Yesterday was my first protest and every honk and peace sign has fueled me to fight even harder.

I ordered five different kind of flower seeds to start next week because the only thing I’m looking forward to in this chaotic chapter of this country is providing more beauty for bee’s and butterflies.
