I support women’s rights and loathe narcissists. I also write books. I talk about writing. And then I eat my feelings about writing. It’s the circle of life 😊

Love to see it. Maybe Trump and Prince Andrew should meet up. You know, for old time’s sake.

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

You can write to ABC here and tell them how you feel about the double standard when it comes to the First Amendment. Because if they’re coming for Jimmy Kimmel now, they will come for you when the pendulum swings away from your beliefs.

It is not about Kimmel or what he said. It is about the US government forcing a network to fire someone - no government should have that power. If the network decided this on their own, that’s one thing. But in this case they absolutely did not.

Anybody else ping-ponging between “The world is f*cked, what’s the point?”, and “I’m going to call, write, protest, and scream at everyone in power until they stop this insanity?” That’s me, constantly, all day.

And now, thanks to inflation and tariffs, I can’t even afford to eat my feelings.

In a text thread my husband was on, a guy joked that he was going to run over “angry” protesters. My husband said, “My wife is out there and she’s not angry. She’s standing up for people‘s rights.” Yesterday was my first protest and every honk and peace sign has fueled me to fight even harder.

🚨 WALMART RAISING PRICES DUE TO TARIFFS

“We will do our best to keep our prices as low as possible but given the magnitude of the tariffs, even at the reduced levels announced this week, we aren’t able to absorb all the pressure given the reality of narrow retail margins,” Walmart CEO says.

Stop partying while Nero fiddles and Marie Antoinette licks frosting off her fingers. — that’s how I ended today’s letter to my federal representatives. Because you know damned well they’re all going to be at that $100m military parade while our kids lose Sesame Street and SNAP benefits.

I sent my 5th letter this month to my representatives.
Our voices matter. Send them emails. Leave them voicemails. Use the 5 calls app.

Take action. It is the ONLY way we can effect change. Photo of one of my butterflies to remind you that one change--one plant--can make a big difference.
