@shirieisner.bsky.social I was reminded of your book, and the personal paradigm sift I had after reading (to crudely paraphrase) bi+ identities are erased as they are innately disruptive to a gender binary and subsequent gender hierarchy.

What I love (read: hate) the most about the Trump administration erasing bi people from LGBTQ history is that no one gives a shit except for the bi movement, because no matter what, we can always count on everyone and everything to be biphobic.

Okay but I really wish people stopped saying that like it was a gotcha of some sort. Heterosexuality is imposed on everyone. That is literally the point. That is why we're not allowed to exist. It is not a contradiction, that is how the system works.
