Currently #mohouse is debating HB089, a bill adding antisemitism to protected discriminations in education settings. This body, or any government body, should not be codifying this working and offensive definition in statute that was never meant to be defined in law.

If you're thinking to yourself: huh, I actually do have too much money, don't I--

here's a sleepaway camp for queer and trans youth that could not be more lifesaving now-- and they're committed to making sure nobody is turned away for lack of funds.

It's run by @ravbogard.bsky.social, mensch.

Trump said we're a country of survivors and I don't think he knows how true that is - for LGBTQI+ people. Trans folks, above all else, know how to survive. We existed before Trump, we will exist after him.

We've got us, no matter what.

Trump claims he criminalized best practice medical care for trans youth. It is imperative that folks understand - he did not. Executive orders do not create new crimes.

Trans medical care is life-saving, best practice care. Read more about it here.

All this business I am reading about social security is nonsense. My mom died on 2/18. My dad got a letter yesterday informing him her benefits were ending and he had to repay the February payment because they don’t give a payment in the month someone dies. They know where every dollar is.

Mo Sen voted down an amendment that would revert the 2001 amended definition of marriage claiming such a commitment could only be between a man and a woman back to being between 2 people. A STL Dem voted it down - voted gay marriage down - in 2025. How are we still here?

There’s not a day that’s occurred this session in which #moleg hasn’t attempted to ban being queer or trans in Missouri. Today #MoSen is back on their construction bill stacked with amendments to permanently ban trans gender affirming care and trans athlete participation in sports.

There’s not one Missourian #MoAG cares about- not trans kids, not our workforce, not farmers.

BREAKING: A federal court temporarily blocked President Trump’s executive order aiming to restrict access to gender-affirming medical care for transgender people under age 19 nationwide.

This is a major victory for our freedom to access life-saving care.

About #MoSen last night:
Don’t sleep on the Freedom Caucus’ conniving behavior to ban gender affirming healthcare in any bill.
Missouri Senate votes to make restrictions on transgender care for minors permanent
Missouri’s current law, which prevents minors from accessing cross-sex hormones or puberty blockers for gender transition, is set to expire in 2027. The Senate voted to remove the expiration date.

This isn't a culture war. This is the only trans congresswoman, ever being bullied through the press and legislation, and having only 1 of hundreds of colleagues stand up for her. They can do more than 1 thing at a time. Defending her will not take so much effort that they can't do their jobs.
Defending Sarah McBride is absolutely the right thing to do, and yet there’s also the risk of being baited into yet another culture war cycle that distracts from the Republican grift. Her statement suggests she wants to move forward, and I think it’s wise to take the cue from her.
