Puts up with things.
I may or may not have had a contact lens stuck on my left eye for two days.

Asda delivery yesterday, none of the fresh or chilled items in it. Morrisons this morning, very little on the shelves. Supply chain problems? The beginning of a food crisis? I'm up for a riot if it comes to it, who's joining me?

You know what would be nice? A decent Parker movie. That'd be nice.

Cat2 has started running up to the TV as soon as it's turned on. This is why.

I made the terrible mistake of bodging together a playlist of my all-time favourite tracks and now it’s pretty much all I listen to. Or indeed want to. More than 7 hours of bliss & it’s darn hard to step away from it in search of pastures new.

In 1936 Tintin creator Hergé’s original multi-colour cover art for The Blue Lotus was too expensive to reproduce, so it ended up being given to his editor’s 7-yr-old son. In 2021, it was sold ~ for almost $4m (Herge Moulinsart)

I mean, I could go on about how a drunken mistake (not mine, I hasten to add) five years ago has led to me having to fork out nearly a grand this week, but what's the point?

Lunchtime! Not sure what to have - a salad of fern leaves of a bowl of Vietnamese noodle broth. So:

Frond or pho?

Frank: Ooh, Betty! The proletariat should seize the means of production!

Betty: Oh, Frank! A post-capital classless society!

Frank: Betty! Engels the cat's done a whoopsie in my beret! Ooh!

New cat bed that he immediately loved: £9.99.

Knowing it'll stop him leaving fur all over the sofa: beyond rubies.

13 hour day at work (sicknesses, maternity leave, unexpected resignation), roadworks all down the A10. Two hours to do a 25-minute trip. Get home, sit down to take my boots off - power cut. Sat here in the dark without even a cuppa. Pray for me and my non-existent children.

Robert Carl's Night Garden sounds exactly how the soundtrack of an episode of Ivor The Engine directed by David Lynch would sound.

Could we please now have a decent quality release of On The Air?

Caught this the other day. Hadn't seen it since was first released. It is utterly joyous.

Got a message from the vet: it's time for Kato's annual health check. This time, could you please provide a sample of his urine?

Anybody know how to do this without losing an arm or an eye or whatever?
