My West Of The Moon mittens after drying. The excess dye tinted them a nice even pink, so it all worked out in the end. But I'm still unhappy; now I know my Kvello mittens will run like this too if washed. 🧶

These are the mittens currently soaking. I put them in about an hour ago and that's the colour of the water after two prior washes. It's hard to see due to the green towel and awful lighting, but the white yarn is now all pale pink. 🧶

I grabbed these Wax Lyrical candles on a whim and they smell *so* good. Black Cherry is intensely fruity and juicy. Sugared Rhubarb smells just like rhubarb pie filling. These scents make me feel like Autumn has finally arrived. 🕯️

I've completed about half of the cowl now. I love the design & technique. Unfortunately the cheap acrylic I used, as pretty as it is, isn't very soft or drapey. Hopefully a good wash softens it up. 🧶

This is Tarboush, a local Lebanese restaurant. This was apparently meant to be a vegetarian mezze meal for ONE. The food is great, the staff are lovely, and it's so cheap for what you get. Under £25 for food, juice, and post-meal Arabic coffee. 🍜

Part of the inside of Tarboush, a local Lebanese restaurant. I was sitting diagonally across from the front entrance, so part of the wrap around bench and several wooden tables with dining chairs are visible. Some decorative plates are hung on the walls along with various metal and glass lanterns from the ceiling. The floor is tiled in earthy colours. A large black platter filled to the brim with different Lebanese mezze dishes. From left to right: large dollops of hummus and baba ganoush (?), some pickled veg, olives, and a stuffed vine leaf, falafel, batata harra (spicy potatoes), a diced herb and onion salad with tomatoes, large dollop of tzatziki, and a dollop of something brown and creamy that I don't know the name of. Above the platter to the left is a bowl full of soft flatbread strips. A small, handcrafted cup and saucer with a coffee spoon. The crockery is bubbled and looks like it was dipped in deep ochre and navy paint. The cup contains Arabic coffee, a spiced coffee prepared similarly to Turkish coffee.

2010 called and wants its iPod back 😅. I ordered an unopened 4th gen Shuffle on a whim via eBay and omg! It works! And, despite being free-buds, the earbuds are surprisingly non-crappy! Now I can listen to music without streaming it in a terrible signal area. Let's hope the battery life is good.

It appears the Boyfriend Mittens are safe from becoming Girlfriend Mittens. They fit him OK and blocking will improve the fit. But he would prefer mittens with a fold down top, so now I need to figure that out. 🧶

Only the thumb remains. I tried it on since my boyfriend's hands are almost the same size mine (just slightly longer) and I'm worried it's too short. Only knitting the thumb and blocking will say for sure 😓 🧶
