My personal lesson in critical thinking from yesterday:

Got a 2kg bag of Dole whip mix. Wanted to divide it into 10 portions of the mix to make it easier to grab a bag and make Dole whip.

Having social time w/ #adhd friends takes hrs. Convos veer off into infinite tangents. When saying goodbyes, somehow new convos get started w/ new tangents & it takes another hr.

Texting is the exception, bc I get distracted after reading & forget to respond. I've been left on read for days too 😆

I’m finally finished setting up my tiny pottery studio…basically a closet under the stairs 😆. Shower curtain is hiding storage bins and an electrical panel. Buckets because I don’t have a clay trap for my sink. Canada stool by my Artista wheel 😊

Today is a full medical day! First a visit to the hospital for neurology tests and consult. Next a visit with the general surgeon for some minor procedures and to schedule more tests.

All it will cost me is my time and a few bucks for parking 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

We were having dinner with extended family at a restaurant. Hubby had his phone camera on. A nice server saw the camera on & volunteered to take a picture of the whole family. Hubby looked embarrassed & said he was using the selfie camera to check if he had food in his teeth 😆😆😆

My hubby bought me a pottery wheel,so of course I had to paint something to hang in my tiny studio 😆

I finally attached a freaking handle to a mug after some failed attempts and much anxiety. I don't have pictures because I just covered it in plastic and ran away 😆😆😆

8 months of throwing + no handles = many many bowls

The house shook. Didn't notice but my kids did. Looked on social media and it took only 5 seconds for my feed to get flooded by #earthquake posts😆.

My algorithm is a mix of community gossip, neurodivergent memes, and tiny puppies wearing sweaters.

I always take an extra moment for the puppies wearing sweaters.

I was getting food & the tip box was split & labelled w/ Kendrick & Drake. Being brain-dead, I assumed they were employee names & left an equal tip in both boxes. I realized it was for voting as the door shut behind me. I’m still mortified 2 yrs later. I would never have given Drake money #kendrick
