This is the thing I wish folks who claim that games are “going downhill,” due to “forced diversity,” (lol) or some other nonsense.

When in reality there’s thousands of people with talent and heart trying to navigate making a wonderful title while dealing with rich idiots who want a product.
the worst part is that those issues were called out almost immediately, and the choice was made to push on.

this strategy backed the team into an impossible situation from the start, and it was a miracle we shipped at all, nevermind shipping at the quality we did.

our narrative team were heroes.

Finished The Will of the Many by James Islington recently. What a story!

Islington’s pacing is superb, no chapter ends without moving the plot forward.

10/10, it’s a must read for anyone into fantasy.

Saw Ninja Sex Party last night for their tour. Unbelievable show, the energy was amazing and the venue was packed to the brim!

For a rock/comedy group, they know how to put on a show.

Not to mention TWRP, who rocked my socks completely off.

I finished The Sword of Kaigen tonight.

Just some thoughts as I always like to sit on a piece of media before cementing my opinion.

Stunning work. ML Wang really breathes life into the pain and hope that springs from the story she tells. Highly recommend to those who enjoy fantasy.

I find it kind of fascinating how the Monster Hunter developers managed to make each weapon feel significantly more fun this generation.

Became a bow main overnight and I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun with a weapon prior to Wilds.

Finally finished Wind and Truth. Book five of the Stormlight Archive.

I’m disappointed. Really felt Sanderson was more concerned with setting up the next “MCU-esque,” phase of his Cosmere versus telling a satisfying story.

Hope he can reign that I’m going forward, still love his work.

Dark times happen. But that’s no need to fret. Build.

Build friendships.

Build coalitions.

Build a community that values life, happiness, and the safety of all.

There are so many more of us than them. So build.

In honor of everyone who tells me PoE2 is very difficult and seeing a certain someone entirely fake their ability to play it, I’ve decided to dive in head first and play a hardcore sorceress.

Hcatt1 is in progress.

My inner child was made so happy during the Game Awards. New Onimusha and Okami?

Bliss.

Metaphor: Refantazio deserves GOTY.

It’s the pinnacle of SMT flavored combat, and handles lofty topics with a maturity and grace I’ve never seen before.

Just beat Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Game absolutely enthralled me from start to finish.

Story: 8/10
Graphics: 9/10
Gameplay: 10/10
Audio: 8/10

I’d give the game a rock solid 9/10. Highly recommended for fans of heartfelt and sincere action RPG’s.
