I found a manga called "Homage to Osamu Tezuka" and it was made shortly after Tezuka died. This is one page that especially stood out to me.

I found this listed on Yahoo! Japan Auctions, and hhhhhhhhhh, it has SO MANY Mangaka signatures!! But it's so EXPENSIVE *sob*

Osamu Tezuka, and his best friend Noboru Baba. For a while I kinda overlooked their friendship, they were just best buddies, but I got bored and went to the Tezuka Official website, then referred to my Biography about Tezuka, and they were so close, it's so wholesome. I made a little rant about it.
Tezuka: Light colors, sweet and average, round, open, and more friendly.
Black Jack: Dark clothes, Literally looks like an edgy theatre kid, more angular, closed off, slightly hostile and grumpy.
Yeah, okay, yeah that's Tezuka's alter ego alright

So Black Jack is basically Tezuka's alter ego... that's so interesting! I never realized that! That would explain Tezuka's own daughter, Rumiko, having such a big influence on Pinoko, a girl whom Black Jack sees as his daughter.

The film has no dialog, it's very quaint and has a sort of Disney vibe to it. It's 18 minutes. If you like Tezuka, I'd give it a look!

I did something similar with Spiel, For me, I find collabs to be a good way to break out of an art block. I keep seeing a base floating around online, a 2 artists base, and I thought maybe you'd like to give it a try. I like your drawings, and I'm curious as to what you'll do with it. (If you want)

I love this photo of Tezuka-- like, how'd this photo come about? I can't help but imagine him asking for the props and having the people pose to take the photo, it screams "Tezuka shenanigans". Also, I don't care that he has a sword, he's about to get his ass kicked, lol.

Oh, wow-- Tezuka in the Black Jack anime, I have mixed feelings! Maybe it's the style with the flat colors that are throwing me off, or the fact that his hair is sometimes brown instead of black, or the fact his English voice actor is SO WEIRD why is his voice so deep but hey, we love all Tezukas ❤︎
