I’m Élle - I’m an illustrator and surface pattern designer based near Toronto.

This is my piece about the Greek myth of how the constellations Corvus & Crater came to be. Exploring mythology/folklore & fitting in as much symbolism I can is where my heart lies 🖤🎨
Corvus & Crater - Black and white depicting the myth of Corvus and Crater. The entire background is black with grain shading and a star map showing the constellations Corvus and Crater in the southern sky. In the top left is an outline of a sun representing Apollo with a glowing black water serpent winding in and around it. In the middle sweeping down from the top right is a large crow in profile. In the middle in a double handle crater with Apollo’s laurel leaf on it. In the bottom right is a black lyre and in the bottom left is a large fig tree with one fig cut in half. Behind in the bottom half are swirling white lines representing water.

Along with all the other weird drawings I make (like pumpkinheads, animals in suits, monsters, etc.) I have a world I pop into from time to time populated by funny little Creeple.
2 Creeple: -Dr. Ocular, a woman with three eyes, glasses, a lab coat, boots, pen and notepad. -The Groove, a man with a very large face, suit, cloak, top hat and a blue monkey-thing hanging out on his shoulders. This is a Digital drawing. An observatory that sits precariously on top of a multilevel house. A funky city can be seen I. The background along with some flying creatures. The observatory have an oversized telescope. This is a digital painting. A complex city scene with a number of Creeple here and there. Lots of funky buildings in the foreground and larger structures in the distance. This is a b&w ink drawing with an ink wash to add some depth. Inside the observatory we find Dr. Ocular at her telescope looking out at the heavens. The chair she sits in is supported by a single pipe, as is her meal to one side. There’s also the top of a ladder that presumably used to get to the chair. The interior is festooned with various gadgets, robots, pipes and such. This is a digital drawing.
