That is a great positive of the new steam hardware: it could open the door for more to discover a ton of hidden gems who aren’t able to make the jump to consoles

It might have a lot to do with the fact that the majority of indie games — and with them, many players who care less about realism and “good graphics” found in many AAA titles — are mostly in the PC space, with many of the popular ones being small enough to run on less specialized machines
