I’m currently watching 5 kdramas and the only one I’m caught up on is #DynamiteKiss. Like, I can tell it’s not a GOOD show in the way that every scene of When Life Gives You Tangerines is a masterpiece. The editing of DK kind of sucks. But as far as chemistry? Whoo! 🔥🥵🔥

Watched 1.5 movies on my flight home.
#Harbin was serious & intense. It’s based on a real assassination, and when I got to the key scene, the music and the direction were so powerful I got chills and immediately rewatched.
So far #Escape is very different. Parts are funny, parts are tense.

In flight movie: #Harbin. I was excited to watch this because #HyunBin just won a Blue Dragon for this role. But it turns out trying to watch this very dark (literally) film on a tiny screen on an airplane where the light conditions change every time someone opens the window blind is… not great.

I finished #MyDearestNemesis. It didn’t make my heart go du-gung du-gung, but neither did it stress me out. It had lots of sweet moments, healthy communication, and no serial killers. In Spanish, I would say “se deja ver” or “para pasar el rato.” In Korean, I would say 별로 “byeollo.”

Today #MyDearestNemesis kept me company as I baked pies. This kdrama is so predictable and full of clichés that I didn’t need to give it my full attention as I peeled and sliced apples. Good news: my Korean has improved to the point where I only needed to read half the subtitles 👍
