Play is done! My first adventure back into acting after 14 years. And it went brilliantly 😊 we got so many laughs, and sold out tickets last night.

New Year’s Eve at 36 involves a large plate of chilli cheese bites, a bottle of beer, crocheting, and watching Supernatural with my husband.
Bit different to the days of either working nightclubs/bars or staying out til god-knows-when in said nightclubs and bars.

I had intentions of writing a shipmas fic this year but I don’t think I’ve actually sat down for more than 5 minutes at a time in 2 weeks. Looking forward to reading anything everyone else has written though!

Things that are not fun, having to get up at 6am for a 2 hour train to work when you normally work from home.
Things that make that less fun:
5yo waking up at 1am & sleeping in your bed (aka kicking you all night).
Not being able to tolerate caffeine.

I get my birthday off work… I did housework & am now paralysed by indecision. So many possibilities. Do I crochet and watch some tv? Do I bake some bread (cos I never have time)? Do I go to the yarn shop? Do I go into town and eat all the things? Do I write fanfic? Do I binge fanfic?

The slow trickle of MAGA folks over here underscores how much their experience of online is entirely dependent on people getting mad at them. It also underscores how even they, given the option, would rather not hang out with themselves either.
