Finishing up my first Smokelong Summer, glad for the wild writing ride with other writers. The @smokelong.bsky.social editors guided, prompted, and supported us every step of the way. Now I have a pile of flash to polish and send forth.

And what if you have an amazing supportive writing workshop led by an incredible, generous writer that meets weekly? And you treat yourself to good lotion and make your own blueberry scones? Thankful for your mentorship, @beekaekae.bsky.social
What if the writing retreat is a Holiday Inn? Your mother's spare bedroom? What if your view is the water tower? What if blueberry yogurt & lukewarm showers? What if lotion that makes your hands drier? What if u can access your thoughts anywhere. What if silence weighs the same in ordinary places.
