The GALS visited the The Gryphon Greenhome Growers (and CTV film crew) at the Bovey greenhouse! This student group grows fresh produce that is donated to the Student Foodbank. Our snails and cockroaches get the leftover leaves and produce!

A fun week with the molluscs in #ZOO2700 ! The GALS were out and about, Gavin H drawing a squid on his lab coat(with squid ink), and I received a fantastic crocheted nudibranch from Mikayla J! @alexsmithants.bsky.social @integrativebiology.bsky.social

Nooooo Lucy! The six-pound, 25-year-old lobster saw her shadow- 6 more weeks of winter. I prefer the Wiarton Willies prognostication - no shadow- an early spring.
