My friend and neighbor, Janie, knew I had family visiting this weekend so she dropped off this beautiful arrangement she made and some chocolate chip muffins. She is so good at pouring love into her people.

Five hotels in ten days. Our son got really good at transport and packing up the car. Once again, EVs are easy! Thanks to Hyundai's free charging program, our energy cost was virtually zero (we only paid once for a charge). Just over 1500 miles!

After Holiday World, we drove south to Bowling Green, Kentucky where our hotel had free chargers! We left this morning for our final leg back to Atlanta with 100% charge. We are now stopped in Manchester, TN for free charging at an Electrify America station! EVs are easy!

The deal Obama made forced Iran to slow its nuclear program to a crawl then Trump undid it and they were off to the races. I have family in Tehran. I'm waiting to hear if they're ok. The mullahs are dangerous and Cheetolini gave them the opening they wanted. I'm furious.

Spent yesterday at my alma mater, IU. My son's former basketball coach is now an asst coach there and took us on a BTS tour. So very cool.

This road trip is mostly a journey to Chicago to see some Cubs games and no baseball trip would be complete without a stop at the Louisville Slugger factory and museum. Got a little then and now photo from when we were here 10 years ago. Highly recommend if you're in town.

I did not know that ESPN The Ocho was a real thing. I only knew it from "Dodgeball" but apparently, that's what inspired it! Unless Google AI is trash, which I don't care to figure that out cuz I'm entertained.

First charging stop. We're at 64% battery and have traveled 129 miles. We got up to 250 kw charging speed and spent 10 minutes here. EVs are easy!

EVs are easy! Road tripping, starting with a full charge. Planned our route using A Better Route Planner app. I set preferences for Electrify America stations (free charging for Hyundai) and to drop no less than 30% before charging stop. #electricvehicles #EVs

My son is with his best friend down at the #Metallica concert with Pantera opening. This is heavy metal heaven. I'm so glad my son's friends parents are taking them and we didn't have to.

Aaaaahhhhh! I just finished "My Friends" by Fredrick Backman. and I'll never be the same. How can a book be so beautiful, heartbreaking AND hopeful all at once? With the MOST EXQUISITE prose. LOL funny at times. Wipe away tears at others. Just perfect. I will have the worst book hangover tomorrow.

My #EV is rated 303 mi on a full charge. Basically the same as if you had a 12 gallon tank and a car that gets 25 mpg. But in practice, since most our driving is in town, we get well over 300. Look at where we are today with a 93% charge and 355 mi estimated range. EVs are easy!
